Anxiety and Stress Management

Do you feel that you are worrying all the time?

Do you feel tense and unable to relax?

Do you have trouble focusing or concentrating on work or school?

Does life feel unmanageable and overwhelming?

If so, equine assisted counseling can help. Equines are able to sense subtle cues in our behavior that may indicate we are becoming stressed or anxious. The equines will respond to these subtle cues and emotional states by providing authentic and nonjudgmental feedback. As your interact with the equine, you may become aware of feelings and maladaptive thoughts influencing your stress and anxiety. By working with your chosen equine, you will develop strategies to manage your stress and anxiety and feel more at peace. Through your time with your chosen equine, you will have the opportunity to practice many stress management strategies such as relaxation and mindfulness in order to best determine what will work for you.
